I seriously request some of the group members who are there or who know
Chakillam Venkatesh to stop the videos. Literally the videos are not upto
the mark. I don't know if anyone with this much daadi and mustache, only
without shika, can do some shastrarth like him? It's an apamana to
shastrarth first of all. If he wants to refute Ramanuja his pakshas has to
be very strong. The above is another video where the speaker says all the
claims of Chakillam are completely untrue.

I feel that the Neo vedanta advaita school in the name of giving upanishad
knowledge to every Tom, Dick and Harry have ended up creating such
inefficient scholars who dont have any knowledge on how to do shastrarth (I
am not demeaning anyone here. But this above video is another such
instance. Another place someone from Neo vedanta school says that Shankara
was the first one to write Gita bhashya. Without him the world would have
lost Bhagavad Gita. The comedy is that they themselves have not gone
through the upothgatha of Shankara bhashya where he himself states he is
writing bashya to clarify the doubts which have come because of previous
commentaries.) It's literally a shame to endorse such activity where the
claims are completely untrue. I request the community members if you are a
true Advaitin, atleast stop endorsing these kinds of false claims from your
own community.

Try to contact Chakkilam and ask him to stop these awful businesses. This
is literally backfiring at the Advaita community only. He can tell points
which are valid, but telling false claims like Ramanuja is the only person
who tells about Vaikunta is a literally flawed argument. Any sampradaya
post ramanuja agrees to mukti by going to that particular loka. To name a
few Nimbarka, Vallabha, Madhwa, Ramananda, Gaudiya (whatever loka let it
be. we can discuss that later) all agree to reaching a particular loka
only. So do you mean to say all made the same mistake of Ramanuja? It's the
Shankaran school of philosophy which only tells mukti here and now. And I
feel the later texts of Shaankarans like Bellamkonda Ramaraya's Vedanta
Sangraha, Panchadashi also agree to going to the lokas as mukti (Krama
mukti). Maha periava in his Advaita Siddhi (Voice of God-Vol-6) books
mentions this can be considered as mukti for gruhastas and other people who
cannot take up sanyasa immediately. So now Chakkilam has come to post
videos just reading one or two books and this is ridiculous. Even in his
community this krama mukti is agreed by post-Shaankaran scholars at
least as far as I know. He is himself contradicting his own philosophy
without understanding it.

In the Sri Vaishnava community, Vedantacharya name is given only for Swami
Desikan. Not even Ramanujacharya has that name. How can such names of the
great legends like Swami Desikan be given to such mean and comedy pieces
like Chakillam who don't even have proper shika and anushtana. Nowadays
youtube has become a platform for every person to talk whatever he wants
and ends up giving courage to people like Chakillam to tell something ill
about other traditions without even knowing. I kindly request any of the
group members at least to tell them that these activities are not good.
Sitting somewhere in America and doing shastrarth will not be even
encouraged by people like Kanchi paramacharya. He failed to do his
kartavya of coming back to India first and do some service to lord here and
sitting in Ohio and doing shastrarth he thinks he is saving the tradition.
It's so ridiculous. Many temples don't even have proper food for the lord.
Whatever Chakkilam is doing is literally an unwanted act and is irrelevant
to the current situation of on his own taking up Ramanuja text and not
having properly understood what it is blabbering something in youtube.
Vishvas ji may be right or wrong in his views but he was not the first one
to start these activities. He is just giving a reply to save his tradition.
Similarly, what are the efforts taken by Chakilam to save his community? Is
sitting outside India and throwing garbage at other philosophies considered
saving one's tradition. I hope there are big, big scholars in this group. I
am just 26 years of age. If I can understand and tell this much I hope
people elder to me will surely understand the need of the hour and advise
Chakilam not to proceed with these activities and there are a lot of other
ways by which he can do rakshana of Advaita philosophy.
