[Advaita-l] Beginner in Advaita

I had discussed the objections of Shree Ramanuja in his Shree Bhashya on Brahmasutra and responses to those objections in this and the Adviatin list many years ago. They are included in one of my books - Journey Beyond: A Non-Dual Approach, published by the Indic Academy and is available online on Amazon, etc. I have to find those articles for reposting them.

For Advaitins the Ramanuja, Bhaskara, Bhartrprapancha etc traditions are
purva paksha. Ramanuja as a Pancharatra vaadin was refuted by Sankara in
Brahma Sutra bhashyam.

A good attempt at treating Advaita as purva paksha is there in the
beginning of the Shri Bhashya by Bhagavad Ramanuja. I dont know of any
youtube/vyoma videos that have distilled out the basic points in Shri
Ramanuja's exposition. A Sri Vaishnava forum might have more number of
scholars who will be able to guide you in this.
