I only recollected it for the nyAya not the argument where NS refers to it
viz , in sambandha gadyam to verse 1.28

अभ्युपगताभ्युपगमाच्च श्वश्रूनिर्गच्छोक्तिवत्   भवतो निष्प्रयोजनः प्रलापः
(1.28)

(Moreover, you are repeating what the advocate of knowledge also holds and
hence your talk is superfluous. It is like the mother-in-law calling back
the guest
refused by the daughter-in-law, so that she may exercise the privilege of
refusing. )
