Used to be a member of this mailing list and that of advaita-l a few years
ago, and had to unsubscribe due to cyberhacking and real-life stalking
problems due to which this email account was in disuse since mid 2021.

Lineage and heritage: Tamilnadu Kerala Smartha Brahmin family + Deekshitar

Background: Law, Christian Theology, Literature, Art, Cultural studies.

Family background: A few among several include former Secretary and
Managing Director of City Union Bank Advocate Mahalinga Iyer of Varagur
Agraharam who was a representative of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham to the
British Parliamentary Delegation in 1946 regarding certain clauses to be
included in the Indian Constitution, a former President of Raja Veda Kavya
Pathashala Kumbakonam, and Dr C L Ramakrishnan IPS, retired DGP, Vigilance
and Anti-Corruption, Pattabhi - who served Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra
Saraswati VIII as a personal attendant for decades including until the
former's interment.

Personal beliefs are apolitical, non-cinematic, non-journalistic and
non-controversial.

Posts are literal, non-sarcastic, and are chosen independently.
