There is definitely a vRtti indicated in the bhAShya which removes avidyA.

> Yes, I am afraid nobody contending against this. Yes, to remove the misconception we have to have the knowledge (ayatArtha jnAna should be superseded by yathArtha jnAna i.e. seeing the rope as rope instead of sarpa. This is definitely a vrutti in the antaHkaraNa. I don’t think no one is questions this type of vrutti jnAna.

That vRtti is named akhanDAkAra vRtti by later AchAryas,

> Yes prabhuji, thanks for pointing that out.

but the reference to the vRtti is certainly present in the bhAShya itself.

> when it is said there is some pratyaya should be araised about our svarUpa and it should be either BKV or AAV then we say it is also mere vrutti only like rajju jnAna in place of sarpa. (roughly it is mere intellectual understanding that we are brahman not BMI, that we all have now!! And which is the stepping stone for our sAdhana) As you have noticed, this cannot be elevated to avagati jnAna or parAjnAna. But in avagati / svarUpa paramArtha jnAna , Atma enshines or illumine the vrutti not vrutti itself gets brahmAkAra or akhandAkAra to imply vrutti pervades the unlimited self. In this highest knowledge jnAnam is jneyAbhinnaM, this parAjnAna nishTata is not separate apart from brahman (kArika 3/33 has the relevance here) and in this vrutti loses its vrittitva, antaHkaraNa that which pervaded by this jnAna starts to appear just like true nature of the self.

Hari Hari Hari Bol!!!
