There is a misconception among many that nowhere the Madhaviya Shankara
Vijaya records any debate or disputation Shankara Bhagavatpada had with the
Buddhists and that it is a much hyped idea that ‘Shankara drove away the
Buddhists and resurrected the Sanatana Vaidika Dharma’.  Here is a survey
