In this chapter 86 of the Linga Purana, containing about 157 verses, there
is a very detailed Adhyatma Advaita Sadhana. By reading the verses with or
without English translation, one can quickly recognize innumerable
Upanishadic passages annotated there: Mandukya, Mundaka, KaTha, Kaivalya,
Narayana Suktam, Taittiriya, etc.
The Pashupata Yoga itself, as a means to Moksha, is well taught in the
Atharva Shiraa Upanishad.

The Advaitic purport is so explicit that one cannot miss appreciating it
all through.

What is striking is that this 'Tamasa' purana, which is claimed to lead one
to hell, naraka, is not teaching adharma at all. Only if it teaches adharma
can one say it will lead to hell. But a study of this chapter, as a sample,
will reveal that the claim that it leads to naraka, hell, is falsified.
