It looks that we are trying to judge or evaluate the parivrajakas but I think we should begin with the grihastha-dharmas and mumukshu-dharmas to examine ourselves whether we are living up to the injunctions of the shastras.

>  Yes you are absolutely right prabhuji we have set our home right first!! But sometimes when our mischievous  mind sees peetAdhipati-s' anugraha at public events, gets the feeling that they are doing so with some "obligations" if not compulsions.  Giving full packet dry fruits, coconut, fruit plates to some special seva karta-s who donated generously to bhikshAvandana kAnike, guru pAdukA vaNdana kAnike etc, having the leisure personal talks with them hours together and blessing them by going to their homes etc.  and other general darshanArthi-s very seldom get little bit of maNtrAkshata.  For these things our inquisitive mind wants a legible and shAstra permitted answer.  I know it is a sin if we really doubt the intentions behind these acts of peetAdhipati-s  but not so when we have the genuine curiosity to know more about this.
