Dear Sri Harsh,
The sloka means as follows:
कृष्णः, Krishna; भोगी, enjoyed bhoga-s; शुकः त्यागी, Shuka was a person who
had renounced; नृपौ, kings; जनक-राघवौ, Janaka and Raghava
वशिष्ठः, Sage Vasishtha; कर्म-निरतः, dedicated to performance of Vedic
karma-s; पञ्चैते, these five; ज्ञानिनः समाः, are jnani-s on an equal
footing.
It is quoted in Vedanta texts by commentators. I cannot readily trace it.
In case I get it I will post it.
