But the authorship of the MSV by Vidyaranya itself is not settled.  Many
hold that it is by Madhavacharya a nephew of Vidyaranya. In the Shankara
Date by Sri RMU, the preference to the non-Vidyaranya authorship can be
seen as the NP mention of kuto mundi if taken from the MSV it should have
existed much before Vidyaranya.
