[Advaita-l] Meaning of Akant ?

The word ekaanta = eka (single) + anta (end or purpose) implying exclusive
or alone etc.

akhanDa = a (negative particle i.e., the opposite of)  + khanDa (part or
division)
This implies free of divisions i.e., whole.


Etymologically there is no connection between the words.
