I myself have been heavily influenced by the Pushti Margi Vaishnavas.  So 
I'm not saying we should ignore everyone who is not sampradayika.  But it 
a sign of respect to actually _listen_ and _think_ about what saints are 
saying.  That is higher devotion than just putting them on a pedastal.
