 Subbuji - Yes. He has done tremendous service to the Advaita community. He was moderator/adviser for the advaitin list serve and was a mentor to me and never hesitated to correct me whenever he found I am deviating from the intended meaning. He was closely watching my Vedanta Paribhasha series when I was posting them on Advaita lists. He used to also discuss privately some of the issues involved. I am ever grateful to him.
