Namste Subbuji,
The puranas have to follow the panchalakshana and according to one of the lakshanas, the Royal lineage is to be updated from time to time. There is the statement "raja kalasya karanam". Theupdating was continued to about 2,000 years ago. The Mahabharata and Ramayana are considered Itihasas and if the Yogavashishtha Maharamayana has also been considered an itihasa text, then reference to future king may have been made as the process of updating the royal lineage. This is the small window I can think of, which would permitt the mention of Yudhisthira as a future king, in a Ramayana text. I am open to correction.
Regards,
Sunil KB. .

Also there is a statement
in the YV that innumerable Ramayanas and
Mahabharatas have happened in a sort if history
repeating itself.
