Dear Friends, In my previous mail I wrote :
:"So let's CONSCIOUSLY always be in the company of our true svarUpa!"Sri Subramanian replied : "Very true. That is the ultimate meaning of 'sat-sanga', the Atman is Sat and sanga,
identity, with it, is the best 'keeping company with the exalted one'."
Next , the question " how to keep company with the exalted one." naturally arises .The answer is given in the mantras 2-1-3&2-1-4 of Katha Upanishad and mantr 2-4 of Kena Upanishad. Sri Shankara, The karuNaguru" in his commentaries to those mantras has in a very clear manner has shown the simple and direct prakriya which helps a serious mumukshu to "keep company with one's true svarUpa / Atman / Brahman". This is what Bhagavadgita calls by the term "AtmasaMsthaM manaH kRutvA ||" and mantra 2-1-1 of Katha Upanishad says " pratyagAtmAnaM aikShadAvRuttacakShuH ||". This teaching I learnt at the feet of my Revered Guru

Dear Readers, Sri Subramanian wrote :"So let's always be in the company of good and right people!"Please permit me to slightly amend the above stated sentence :"So let's CONSCIOUSLY always be in the company of our true svarUpa!"
Very true. That is the ultimate meaning of 'sat-sanga', the Atman is Sat and sanga, identity, with it, is the best 'keeping company with the exalted one'.

It removes the inertia of the mind, fosters truth in speech, directs to
respect and progress, removes sins, pleases the mind, expands the fame in
all directions. Is there anything that the company of virtuous people
doesn't provide?
So let's always be in the company of good and right people!
