[Advaita-l] What is the difference between Maya and avidhya ?T

Also, in this understanding, how is avidyA ( beejashakti / mula avidya)
destroyed completely?
Is it through jnAna prApti through shravanAdi sAdhana in jAgrat alone or
in addition, through samAdi abhyAsa required for removing the mula avidyA
(causal potentiality) present in kArana sharira ?
