Add to these 'no self shaving, no eating outside,etc.'

Sometime back we had seen here that one can take saligrama to other
countries too and do pUja there if one is working/living there.  Surely in
many countries it would be impossible to use kumpaTi / firewood at home.
So, 'bhAvagrAhI janArdanaH' should be our norm.
