There is a vedavAkyam: '*अतिरात्रे*. *षोडशिनं* गृह्णाति' 'नातिरात्रे *
षोडशिनं* गृह्णाति' that is quoted by Shankaracharya in the BhAShya/s.  Is
this sentence related to the above ritual?
