Even in these Sanskaaras the Sanyaashis, whether the Baala-Sanyaashis or those who take Sanyaasha as the last aashrama are not involved. That seems to justify what Adi Sankaracharya meant.

Not just then.  In Gujarat they are also worshipped during vastu puja, upanayana, vivaha, havan etc.
