I was wrong.  According to the subhAShitaratnabhANDagAra it is number 57 
in another anthology called shAra~ngadharapaddhati by shAra~ngadhara (c. 
14th century AD) Looking there it only says kasyapi.  Had it come from 
kAlidAsa there would have been a proper attribution.
