Namaste,
Would it not be better if Dr. Rao also gets interested and joins our group, unless of course he does not consider it befiiting his scholarship?
Regards,
Sunil K. Bhattacharjya

Pranams
I have been reading the correspondence/postings on Mahayana Buddhism. As far I know there is a scholar who is well versed in Sanskrit and Prakriti, a language/dialect which I understand Gauthama Buddha delivered his sermons during his time. Dr. C. Upendra Rao, could be a scholar to give some insight into this. He has been helping a few western universities in coordinating projects (translating Buddhist literature). He has delivered lectures extensively in India and abroad and his contact address is:
Dr. C. Upendra Rao

Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067

Incidentally I retired from JAWAHARLAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY, New Delhi a year ago and I am aware of his scholarship.
With profound regards to fellow advaitings and others in the stream.
Sincerely yours,
R. Venkateswaran
