[Advaita-l] Manimanjari

As many on the forum would know, Maanimanjari, though admitting Rudra
sambandha, portrays Adi Sankara is a very badlight. Even the tabloids
of the atheistic dravidian movement such as Nakkeeran do not come
anywhere close to the abysmal depths of Manimanjari in attacking a
tradition. Has it been countered?

I dont know what is the need for advaitins to counter each & every 
nonsense & rubbish literature like this...Personal attacks like this not 
new to the vedAnta literature..unfortunately, this type of character 
assassination exists even within the tradition and socalled 
traditionalists gone to the low level to make abysmal comments on each 
other while presenting their siddhAnta.  For that matter, this type of 
asinine comments available on Sri madhvAchArya & Sri rAmAnujAchArya 
also..I understand from one of the works that in saUra purANa there are 
chapters which holds Sri madhvA in bad light and in skAnda purANa, kedAra 
khanda it has been explained that madhva & rAmAnuja are representatives of 
kali and they are the incarnation of kAma & krOdha respectively...As you 
know these are all biased views of some fanatics, not worth to give any 
credence...maNimanjari also one of these malicious works that can easily 
be discarded without giving any importance.
