[Advaita-l] Concept of soul

Bringing in the Ramayana brings with it too many unknowns. For one, it
belongs to another Yuga and given our knowledge in this Kali Yuga, many
things of that Yuga are not explainable (e.g. a monkey army, stones floating
on water, etc)
