Do you have any concrete proof that they were observing
sankara jayanthi before 1910, and more importantly on
vaishakha shukla panchami day as it is nowadays?

wasn't Sri Virupaksha Sastry an AcArya of this matha? if
so, it should be at least 69, if not lower...
