[Advaita-l] Reflections on Avidya - a mananam dialog

I have taken the opportunity to compile my current understanding of Advaita
Vedanta philosophy, as taught by Swami Sankaracharya Bhagavatpada and our
acharya parampara. This exercise is purely a personal mananam sadhana to
tame my intellectual curiosities and establish Advaita on a firmer
understanding.

The above post covers a few salient points on avidya, in the form of a
dialogue between a Purvapakshin and the Siddhantin. This is not an
exhaustive discussion, but attempts to establish the tenability of Advaita
philosophy. The intent is not to engage in the bhava-rupa or abhava aspect
of avidya.

I sincerely solicit critical guidance from the learned members of this
group.
