Dear All,

The above remark - //A search of advaita-sharada website can determine if
Sri Shankara uses the second terminology, but this would purely be of
academic interest. // is truly exploding. While the 'post-Shankara
commentators/Advaita Acharyas have* introduced *several concepts and terms
that are *alien* to Shankaracharya, Gaudapadacharya and Sureshwaracharya
and thereby *corrupted the original shuddha shAnkara Advaita prakriyA'*,
the same allegation can be levelled against Shankara too by the
non-Advaitin schools.

There is a plethora of terms/concepts that are not present in the Prasthana
Traya that Shankara has introduced: adhyAropa-apavAda, adhyAsa,
nirupadhika, sopadhika, avidyAdhyasta, avidyAkruta, jneya and upasya
brahma, krama-mukti, kevala/shuddha/nirguna chaitanya, satya/anruta,
pAramArthika/VyAvahArika/drShTanaShTa satya, rajju-sarpa, shukti-rajata,
marIchika, and so on.

By introducing such concepts/terms Shankara has corrupted the shuddha
aupanishada sampradaya taught by Veda Vyasa and the upanishads.

regards
subbu
